Summary
Dr. Ryusuke Masuoka is a Global Fujitsu Distinguished Engineer
and a technical advisor at Fujitsu Defense & National Security Limited, and a chief cybersecurity advisor at Japan Ministry of Defense.
Over 30 years of ICT research and more than 20 years of ICT research management experiences.
He led collaborations with research institutes like the University of Maryland, MITRE, PARC, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), UC Berkeley, Virginia Tech, Ben-Gurion University (BGU), and Keio University and collaborations also with a couple of startups. He served as Principal Investigators (PIs) for DARPA and NSF projects. He has worked on a wide range of standard activities including those for OASIS Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) TC, DMTF, Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), 3GPP, IEEE 802.15.4, IETF ROLL WG, Trusted Computing Group (TCG), W3C OWL-S, and FIPA. Currently engaged in Cyber Security research including Cyber Threat Intelligence after two years of public policy studies, in particular, of cyber security at a think tank.
